History
Our history, mission, and vision
4U Credit Union, formerly NASCOGA (National Supply Company of Gainesville), was chartered on May 15, 1956, with ten charter members each contributing five dollars. Initially operating from a small corner of the plant for just a few hours weekly with volunteers.
Today, we’re a financially sound $140 million credit union offering comprehensive services. Since receiving our community charter in 1998, membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Cooke or Grayson Counties, or has a family member who is currently a member.
In 2018, our Board of Directors updated our name to 4U Credit Union to better serve growing markets while honoring our legacy. The new name reflects our commitment to being here for today, for tomorrow, for you.
MISSION
4U Credit Union provides quality financial services meeting all members’ needs with low-cost loans and competitive savings returns while maintaining a sound capital base.
